- Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and assisted for your scenic journey to Darjeeling. The drive of approximately 3.5 to 4 hours takes you through winding mountain roads, lush greenery, and picturesque tea gardens. Perched at an altitude of around 7,000 feet, Darjeeling is known for its breathtaking Himalayan views and colonial charm. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, explore the lively Mall Road or local markets at your leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
